Coming across Stachys Cretica, was unexpected and finding information on this great herb was challenging. Upon drying up we noticed a light rose-like scent unfolding as time went by.
 
It turns out that this “forgotten” herb has quite a few interesting properties as well. It is said that Stachys Cretica has antibacterial and antifungal properties. It is appetizing, digestive, diuretic, anti-inflammatory and stimulates the nerves. It is recommended for inflammation of the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary tract, such as dyspnoea, bronchitis, phlegm, gastritis, indigestion, diarrhea, kidney and bladder inflammation. It lowers high blood pressure, stimulates the nervous system, helps in epilepsy, nervous headaches, rheumatism, arthritis and arteriosclerosis. Stachys Cretica helps the body to generally respond positively to treatment for malignant tumors.
 
Our recommended way of using this amazing herb is through a cup of tea. In a cup add 1 spoon, pour boiling water and brew covered for 10’ - 15’. Strain it, add some honey for sweetness and enjoy!
