How did we survived all those summers without this precious oil, we wonder every time we use it now.
Our Calendula oil has been solar infused, using wildcrafted and handpicked calendula flowers (calendula officinalis) and extra virgin olive oil.
This is our personal healing oil and we always carry one with us. It is our best healing tool when outdoors and even indoors it’s uses are enormous. We had amazing results in treating minor cuts and burns, relieving insect bites, removing make up and moisturizing skin, even using it as base for our own moisturising cream, just to name a few...
Our calendula can be given to you in three ways. In a glass bottle, 50ml and 100ml, ideal for house use and in a plastic spray bottle of 40ml, which is super practical in always having it with you.
Here are some more information about this amazing healing oil:
Calendula oil is traditionally used for abdominal cramps and constipation.
It has great anti-inflammatory, antifungal antibacterial and vulnerary action, making it helpful with stubborn wounds, acne, ulcers, bed sores, varicose veins, rashes, eczema, athlete's foot, ringworm and jock itch and related conditions.
It helps soothe sore, inflamed and itchy skin conditions.
The antiseptic and antimicrobial action of the oil help speed up healing of wounds and minor cuts, and also help relieve insect bites, acne and bed sores.
You can use it in place of antibacterial cream for scratches and scrapes.
Calendula oil is very useful in baby care. The oil helps relieve diaper rashes, which can extremely irritate an infant.
Calendula massage oil also assists in soothing, and softening skin, making it a good addition to massage oils or when preparing a carrier oil blend.
It works great as well as a hair oil, leaving your hair shiny and healthy. Just place a few drops in your palm and work it into the ends. If you use a very small amount, your hair won’t feel greasy.
You can use the oil as a healing make up remover. Just dab a bit on a cotton pad and use this to remove the make up. It works great on healing acne. Just dab a bit on a pimple and it will start to heal right away. Calendula has the added benefit of reducing redness, so this can help with acne eruptions.
